Apparently while I was on vacation and open letter to KGMI was sent to The Bellingham Herald regarding a recent show that I did along with my co-host Joe.  The topic was that close to 20 million dollars was going to be used in out state to employ teens for seven weeks this summer.  Some of those jobs were going to be for training baristas for private companies.  One just happens to be here in Bellingham.

I received a number of calls and emails by people (including some that usually don’t agree with me); angered by the stimulus and the spending.  If you missed the show you can go back to ‘The Morning  Show” with Joe and Patti (07/01) and listen.  Tell me what you think!

How do you feel about the county wanting to down zone areas across the county?  How about the loss of value to land owners?  What about property rights?

How do you feel about the climate bill?  Is this a push to just get a new revenue stream?

I can’t help but notice the progressive change in how they present this crap to the public.  First it was ‘global warming’ and that didn’t get enough traction.  Then they changed the phrase to ‘climate change’; duh, it has always been changing and that hasn’t been received too well.  Now, it is officially ‘global warming pollution change’; will that do the trick?

Monday, June 8th at 7 p.m. the City of Bellingham will be hosting a public meeting to discuss the possible consideration of an ordinance to give sanctuary to military members that are classified AWOL or deserters.  What do you think?

After the show I received a call from a woman that said she would be there;  her husband served in WWII.  I told her I will see her there as will.  I will be the woman sitting there holding my American flag that many have given their lives for!

We talked about illegals and employers as well as the Washington State Petition that is currently collecting signatures.  What are your thoughts?

The Bellingham Task Force on taking more money from the people says we need to install cameras to ticket speeders.  Is this a money grab?  Arizona is going to take out the 100 cameras they wasted money on…

Any thoughts on the jihad terrorists arrested last night in Hew York City? 

Do you feel more threatened by terrorists, enemy governments, the IRS, street criminals, or global warming?

What do you think about the new septic system inspections?  I personally think they stink to high heaven!  This is no more than a money grab, a land grab and bullying by governement agencies!  Would love to hear you thoughts…

It appears they will now tax food with sugar, salt; you name it.  Tell me, what don’t they tax?  Just something to think about…

How do you feel about the County Council reversing the law that allowed property owners to cluster homes?  Is it just a smattering of people that are upset?  Have the minority lost all representation to the radical environmentalists? Where are the rights of property owners?
